1. Nature of Our Services

VillacoreTech provides custom, service-based work, including but not limited to:

  • SEO audits and strategies
  • Technical SEO recommendations and implementation
  • Content strategy and SEO consulting
  • Digital marketing and social media strategy
  • Analytics and performance reporting

Because our Services are personalized and time-based, they are generally not eligible for refunds once work has started, except in the limited cases described below.

2. General Refund Principle

Unless stated otherwise in a specific contract, offer, or written agreement:

All payments made to VillacoreTech are non-refundable once work has begun.

This applies to:

  • Project-based fees
  • Retainer/monthly service fees
  • Strategy sessions or consulting packages
  • Audits and reports

We invest time, expertise, and resources from the moment a project is accepted, which is why fees are typically not refundable.

3. Refunds Before Work Starts

If you have made a payment and:

  • We have not yet started any work,
  • And you request a cancellation very shortly after payment (for example within 3–7 days),

we may, at our discretion, offer:

  • A full refund, or
  • A partial refund after deducting any administrative or payment processing costs.

This is evaluated case by case and is not guaranteed.

4. No Refund for Change of Mind or Strategy Shift

We do not offer refunds when:

  • You change your mind after work has started.
  • You decide to stop or pause the project for internal reasons (budget, priorities, etc.).
  • You are not using or implementing the recommendations we deliver.
  • You expected different or faster results than what is realistically possible in SEO and digital marketing.

We always aim to be transparent about expectations, but results depend on many factors beyond our control (competition, market, algorithm changes, implementation on your side, etc.).

5. Performance and “No Results” Situations

SEO and digital marketing performance cannot be guaranteed with exact numbers (rankings, traffic, or sales).

You understand and agree that:

  • We do not offer refunds based on expected results not being met, unless we have explicitly guaranteed them in a signed agreement (which is generally not the case).
  • Our obligation is to provide professional services, strategies, and recommendations in line with best practices—not to guarantee a specific ranking or revenue level.

If you have concerns about performance, we encourage you to:

  • Share your questions and feedback with us,
  • Allow us to review and adjust the strategy where possible.

6. Retainers and Monthly Services

For retainer-based or monthly services (for example: ongoing SEO management, content strategy, or continuous consulting):

  • Payments are typically due in advance for each period (e.g., monthly).
  • Once a period has started and work has been planned or executed, fees for that period are not refundable.

If you wish to cancel future periods:

  • You must notify us before the start of the next billing period, within the notice period defined in your agreement (for example, 15 or 30 days).
  • After cancellation, no further invoices will be issued beyond the agreed notice period, but past payments remain non-refundable.

7. Digital Deliverables (Audits, Reports, Strategies)

For digital deliverables such as:

  • SEO audits
  • Strategy documents
  • Keyword research files
  • Content plans
  • Technical reports

Refunds are not available once these items have been created and delivered (or partially delivered), as the value has already been provided in the form of intellectual work.

8. Custom Projects and Prepaid Blocks of Work

For custom projects or prepaid blocks of consulting/implementation hours:

  • If you decide to stop the project mid-way, we will calculate the work already completed.
  • Any remaining balance may, at our discretion, be:
    • Converted into a credit for future services, or
    • Retained to cover internal time reserved and project setup costs.

Whether a credit is granted and for how long it is valid is decided case by case.

9. Third-Party Fees and Tools

Some services may involve third-party tools, subscriptions, or advertising budgets (e.g., SEO tools, hosting, ad platforms).

  • These costs are typically non-refundable, as they are paid directly to third-party providers or spent on campaigns.
  • We cannot refund amounts that have already been spent on ads, software, or external services on your behalf.

If a third-party provider offers a partial refund or credit, we will inform you and discuss how to handle it.

10. Disputes and Chargebacks

We will review the situation and try to find a fair solution.

If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or payment provider without first attempting to resolve the issue with us:

  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any ongoing work and future collaboration.
  • We may provide documentation and evidence to dispute the chargeback.

11. Exceptions

In rare cases, and at our sole discretion, we may decide to offer:

  • A partial refund,
  • A credit for future services, or
  • An alternative solution,

if we determine it is fair and appropriate based on the circumstances.

Such exceptions do not create an obligation for us to offer the same solution in future cases.

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time.

  • Any changes will be posted on this page.
  • The “Last updated” date will be adjusted accordingly.
